City of Gonzales Congratulates Bayou Ballers Girls Flag Football League (12U and 14U) for Winning Championship!

At the City Council Meeting on Monday, July 28th, Mayor Timothy “Tim” Riley and the City Council recognized the Bayou Ballers GleauxRillas All-Girls Teams (12U and 14U) for winning Championships at the Rocky Top Sports World Smokey Mountain Gauntlet in Gatlinburg, TN in June 2025! The 12U team is currently ranked #2 in the United States, and 14U is currently ranked #1 in the United States. Both teams won Gold medals at the tournament.

The teams are lead by league owner Jarrod Lebouef and Head Coach Carl Tyson.
