Greenie Gonzales 
Officer Forbes started with Gonzales Police Department on April 12, 2023. In two short years, he has proven himself as a motivated officer driven to learn.
I had the privilege of supervising Officer Forbes for a short time while he was assigned to the 3-to-3 shift.
From June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025, Officer Forbes responded to 600 calls for service as the primary officer and made 108 arrests. During this time frame, his proactive police work has leg to three guns being seized, 31 narcotics arrests and 17 DWI arrests. His proactive approach to law enforcement has made the City of Gonzales safer for the citizens.
