Greenie hops on over to local school

Greenie Gonzales sure has been a busy bee (or should we say frog) today! He accompanied our Chief Engineer, Jackie Baumann, on a trip to St. Theresa’s school and met some great kids in the 4th grade science class.

The city recently funded a storm water grant, and that money allowed Greenie to purchase supplies for the kids as a way of them creating their own community. They also experienced the ways that pollution can travel through their waterways.

“What a fun morning working with some great kids,” said Greenie. “I suspect they’re going to grow up and be quite the innovators!”
